An Atheist Gets Schooled on Sept. 28

On September 28, I will be giving a talk to the Purdue Society of Non-Theists entitled: An Atheist gets Schooled: My Trip to a Creationist Home-Schooling Conference. It will be at PHYS 333 at 6:30pm.

It will be about my experience last summer going undercover for Hemant Mehta at the annual meeting of the Illinois Christian Home Educators in Naiperville, IL. Ken Ham, and others spoke about creationism, as well as other topics surrounding home-schooling, education, politics, and Christianity. The post that I co-authored on Friendly Atheist about our under-cover experience sparked a large response from the Christian home-schooling community.

It should be a great time, and I hope you can join us!
