It is a rare day where Pat Robertson says something that I agree with. However, today is that day:

Wait a second. Did Pat Robertson just say that Republicans should abandon their effective strategy for the past 15 years and stop playing to the base?


So, Pat (if I can call you that), let me ask you a few questions. Is it okay if the Republicans stop defending DOMA? How about we take away the national day of prayer? I assume the answer is no. Okay, so are you then willing to take back your statement or tell me I'm taking it out of context? No answer.

So I guess I'll just have to sit here, wait and appreciate the irony until you ultimately respond!
