Blue Jackets vs. Sabres Pregame

Tonight, I'm heading to Columbus, OH for the Blue Jackets game this evening. The Jackets will be taking on the Sabres at Nationwide Arena. The Blue Jackets are playing fairly well as of late. They have taken 6 out of the last 8 points available, and they are within a game or two from not being the worst team in the league. The biggest change is Curtis Sanford as the starting goaltender, as Steve Mason is nursing a head injury. The Sabres have been playing inconsistent, but are not a terrible team, with Jhonas Enroth filling the big shoes of Ryan Miller.
Unfortunately I was very excited to see Ryan Miller play live, but unfortunately Milan Lucic injured him. I am also excited to see a non-Steve Mason goaltender play. I'm looking forward to a great game, from a seeming rejuvenated Blue Jackets team. The other thing I'm pretty excited about is actually snapping a few pictures of the replica cannon that the Jackets have in the arena. They fire a blank shot out of it after each goal the Jackets score. I've been to one game since they've done this, but I wasn't in the arena with enough time to go see it. So this time, I should have enough time to see it.

If you're going to the game, Tweet me if you want to meet up.
